This resource list was produced in March 2026, less than one week after the US and Zionist entity launched attacks against Iran in the middle of diplomatic negotiations and killing over 1000 people (and counting) and Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. These imperialist attacks come as people in Iran are reeling from the Iranian government’s crackdown on the Dey 1404 uprising since early January, resulting in brutal repression and the massacres of civilians.
The context of Iran and how leftists position themselves has been the source of much movement debate. Weaving our Worlds has compiled a list of resources and diverse left perspectives from and on Iran. Rather than reduce Iran to various intra-left ideological debates, these resources provide analysis based in context, specificity, and history with the hope of building more informed and internationalist solidarity.
