On Sep 20, people across these lands and around the world are coming together for a climate justice-initiated day of mobilization called Draw The Line for People, for Peace, for the Planet.

Meet at 1:30 pm at CBC plaza (700 Hamilton). We will gather as a bloc and then join the rally at 2 pm at VPL. Unceded and surrendered xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, səlilwətaɬ lands.

Gaza is the Compass. We march with the names of the martyrs and the resistance in Falastin in our hearts. We march with the will to break free every migrant being caged and deported from under the VPL/CBSA building where we will be gathering. We march with raised fists for Indigenous peoples defending their homelands from extraction and their homes from evictions – from the Yintah to the Laxyip to the DTES. We march in solidarity with all targeted & criminalized & oppressed communities here and everywhere.

The latest display of canadian colonial chauvinism by Evil Barney Carney ramming through bills like C2 and C5 are part of rising right wing, capitalist, anti-people policies & the normalization of ongoing colonial genocides from Turtle Island to Palestine to Sudan to Congo to Kashmir. We are stronger when we name our enemy and take the streets with our friends and comrades.
