Since January 2025, together we have redistributed $43,787.69 to frontline struggles & mutual aid efforts locally and globally. 🥳

Weaving Our Worlds is a grassroots, all-volunteer anti-authoritarian, internationalist collective. We envision collective liberation where everyone has a dignified life and the ability to provide it for their kin, where we are all free of oppression, exploitation and misery, and where we live in right relationship to one another and the earth.🌿

Our fundraising is not charity! Mutual aid addresses survival needs while dismantling inequity, injustice, and imperialism. As Dean Spade writes, mutual aid is a mobilization tactic for building solidarity around broader social movements. We host free, monthly community events to build awareness & long-term solidarity for many struggles, and we also raise $ at these events. This is direct participation and collectivity in action! Learn, Agitate, Liberate! We also contribute to direct aid for community members we are in community with coz all we have is each other!

We have redistributed funds to: Gaza Soup Kitchen @gazasoupkitchen; Sameer Project @thesameerproject; Crips for eSims for Gaza; Sudan Solidarity Collective @sudansolidaritycollective; Friends of the Congo @congofriends; Gitxsan Resistance to PRGT Pipeline @laxyipyouth; Indigenous and Black Families fight for justice; DTES MMIWG2S+ Women’s Memorial March; MAST @vancouvermast, FTP, Distro Disco @distro_disco; Zapotec Families @luchazapoteca; two migrant comrades fighting deportation incl @marcialopezy; three families in Gaza; and four tenants fleeing violence and harassment. 🌸

💰Right now, we are running a Wage Solidarity Fundraise for DULF inviting everyone to redistribute one day’s wage to fight the punitive, racist and criminalizing war on drugs: https://chuffed.org/project/dulf-wage-solidarity

💜Mutual aid comes in many forms! We want to lift up and thank the hundreds of people that have brought clothing for our neighbours for distro through our events; everyone who prepared and shared food especially our friends at FTP; and our network of WOW comrades who dedicate time and labour, especially often invisible but invaluable labour like dishwashing & providing childcare. This is all a labour of love and community care!

Keep redistributing resources & time to interconnected struggles however you are able! Comrades at Sameer Project remind us, “Donating will not end this. Only our voices will. We have to continue protesting, striking, boycotting, and disrupting.” ✊🏾
